Sleeping Claw Ring

I'm picky, especially when it comes to jewelry. Costume baubles are enchanting, but I rarely have the opportunity to really get my Anna Dello Russo on! I often find the most amazing creations without indulging: "Oh, I don't have the right hands for that ring" or "The only statement that necklace will make is 'I have no idea how to wear this.'" My greatest gift in jewelry is appreciation: the skill involved in producing an extraordinary piece, the innovation behind its creation, and its beauty!

In the bright white noise of winter, I like something dark to help me reach a balance. This Aoi Kotsuhiroi Sleeping Claw Ring does that for me. Well, sort of. With it's steep price tag, it keeps me visually sane (just so intriguing to look at!) and mentally tormented (why isn't this in my jewelry box yet?!). Hand-sculpted with antique Roman 24K gold beads, porcelain skulls, and last but not least, human hair, this two-finger ring will one day be mine.

If only I had the right hands...!
